Reminders: A Poem

I have kept every kiss you've given me
pressed between pages,
lining the cabinet doors,
dripping from the eaves,
hanging from the lintels like mistletoe,
and tucked into the corners of every mirror.
They wink at me as I go about my day,
these reminders of you.

From my book Woodland Spirits.
