Golden Light: A Poem

I seek the golden light of inspiration
In the momentary hush at dusk
As the day slips from my grasp
And I take in my hands what I can clutch
Before the thought I chase disappears
To be replaced by reckless fears
I pin it to a canvas
I splash it on a page
And move on to the next thing
Say it's good enough for today

  1. Lovely poem. Keep on making art for it is through this that we discover the truth. Light doesn’t need to be sought. It is always there. I am an artist too.
